Mr. Batchelor focuses his practice on complex civil litigation including the defense of personal injury and construction defect claims. Prior to joining Scheer & Zehnder LLP, he worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Marion County, Illinois, where he enjoyed his days in the courtroom prosecuting felonies and misdemeanors. Mr. Batchelor received his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2008. While in law school, Mr. Batchelor worked as a law clerk at a prominent civil practice firm in Carbondale, Illinois, was a member of Moot Court, was a Taylor Mattis fellow, and served as a research assistant for the Garwin Distinguished Visiting Professor of Law and Medicine. Mr. Batchelor’s personal interests include attending concerts, collecting records, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and enjoying the Pacific Northwest.
