Mr. Duffy focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, employment litigation, insurance defense, and personal injury. Before joining Scheer & Zehnder LLP, Mr. Duffy worked as a project consultant for ECO-Asia, a Bangkok, Thailand-based program of the United States Agency for International Development, and as an attorney focusing on electronic discovery litigation.
Mr. Duffy is a member of the Washington State bar who received his Juris Doctor from Lewis and Clark Law School in 2003. While in law school, Mr. Duffy was a member of the International Legal Perspectives journal, clerked for The Honorable Robert S. Gardner in Benton County, Oregon, and published an article in the 2003 edition of The Sports Lawyer's Journal.
Since 2009 Mr. Duffy has served on the organizing committee for the ALS-DoubleDay, a two-day cycling event held each summer in Mt. Vernon, Washington to raise money and awareness for people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling with his wife and son, as well as playing soccer and chess.
