AJA E. HICKS

Ms. Hicks focuses her practice on complex civil litigation. Prior to joining Scheer & Zehnder, Ms. Hicks was an associate at Ronald W. Atwood, PC. Throughout law school she clerked at Nashville civil litigation firm Tune, Entrekin & White. She also spent time as an extern in the Multnomah County Attorney’s Office. She is licensed to practice in Washington and Oregon.

Ms. Hicks received her Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2006, where she was an Honor Scholar. She served on the Moot Court Board Managing Council as the Executive Problem Editor for the National First Amendment Moot Court Competition, and also represented Vanderbilt at the National Security Law Competition in Washington, DC. Ms. Hicks graduated cum laude from Linfield College with a BA in Mass Communications and a minor in English.

In her free time, Ms. Hicks enjoys traveling, skiing, wine tasting, and college sports. She also volunteers at the Oregon Humane Society.
