Mr. Scisciani joined Scheer & Zehnder LLP in 2002 and became a Partner in 2008. Mr. Scisciani assists clients with a variety of complex, civil litigation (and pre-litigation dispute resolution) in both Washington and Oregon. He works closely with the firm's construction clients to resolve disputes at all phases of the development and sale of residential, commercial and mixed-use properties. Mr. Scisciani also represents businesses and individuals with claims involving personal injury, wrongful-death and premises liability issues. Mr. Scisciani has successfully represented clients in state, federal and appellate courts, as well as in mediation and arbitration.

Mr. Scisciani has been recognized three times as a "Rising Star" in Washington Law & Politics magazine: in 2006, 2007 and 2010. In 2005, and by a vote of his peers, Mr. Scisciani was named the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers Association ("WDTL") Outstanding Litigation Associate. Mr. Scisciani also served as the 2009-2010 Chairperson of the WDTL Construction Section.

Prior to joining Scheer & Zehnder LLP, Mr. Scisciani served as a Rule 9 Deputy Prosecutor at the Office of the King County Prosecuting Attorney. He is licensed to practice in both Washington and Oregon. Mr. Scisciani also is licensed to practice in the Western District (Federal) Court of Washington. Mr. Scisciani is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Oregon State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, Washington Defense Trial Lawyers and the King County Bar Association.

Mr. Scisciani speaks frequently at seminars and other venues for other attorneys, insurers, businesses, trade groups and professional associations on a variety of topics including construction law, legislative updates, risk management and civil procedure.

Mr. Scisciani received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond in Virginia. After working for two years as a paralegal with Jones Day in Washington, D.C., Mr. Scisciani enrolled at Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. He received his Juris Doctor (with Honors in a Litigation Concentration) in 2001. Before graduation, Mr. Scisciani was selected by the Dean to represent his law school on the National Law School Dean's List. Mr. Scisciani's personal interests include home improvements and soccer.
